Originally from Kanagawa, Japan, Mariko brings 10 years of hairstyling experience to SOZO.

Mariko has a particular passion for men’s hair and has dedicated time to developing her skills in men’s cutting and shaving. She especially enjoys working with thick and wavy hair, creating fresh, modern styles that are easy to manage and maintain their shape well.

Careful and attentive in her work, Mariko believes that a great haircut should be personal to each client. She continually updates her techniques and follows new trends rather than simply repeating the same styles.

Her friendly and easy-going personality makes her easy to talk to, and she enjoys getting to know her clients and understanding what works best for their lifestyle.

Drawn to SOZO’s international environment, Mariko is excited to bring her Japanese experience and approach to clients from different backgrounds here in Hong Kong.

Outside the salon, she loves hiking, the beach, reading and cats. She is also currently learning Cantonese.
